Fundamental GREEN began with the goal of encouraging greener living practices and simpler lifestyle choices that are both affordable and sustainable.
We do this by assisting people in the Rochester, NY and Monroe County area in reducing their environmental impact by educating them about their purchasing, existing product uses, and waste reduction. At Fundamental GREEN, we specialize in helping our clients reduce their environmental footprint through personalized in-home consultations.
Products and goods in use in the home are evaluated for their impact on personal and environmental health. Recommendations for eco-healthy alternatives are then made. These in-home assessments can be adjusted to the individual’s preference – a single room, such as the bathroom, kitchen, laundry or bed room can be the focus or the entire home.
We also believe that creating an environmentally healthy home does not have to be a financial burden. In many instances, money can be saved. Several of the products that we recommend are simple, time-tested, basics that cost pennies per use.
Reducing the amount of waste sent to landfills is a direct goal at Fundamental GREEN, we are communicating with homeowners, waste companies and major retailers to educate the public about what items can be recycled locally and where to find recycling options elsewhere for other recycleables.
